About me

I am a final-year PhD researcher in Finance at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, working at the intersection of empirical corporate finance and climate/biodiversity risk. My research examines how environmental risks — from supply chain climate exposure to biodiversity loss — shape corporate financial outcomes, institutional ownership, and disclosure behavior.

Methodologically, I draw on causal inference (difference-in-differences, instrumental variables, synthetic control) and machine learning to identify robust empirical patterns in observational corporate data. I’m also interested in building open-source tools that make these methods more accessible to empirical researchers.

My work has appeared in the Journal of International Money and Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Managerial and Decision Economics, and the British Journal of Management.
